Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
Ejecta plays a tone that pushes water out of your iPhone's speaker. It asks for no permissions at all, and it has nothing to ask for. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what data is and is not handled when you use it.
What Ejecta never touches
- The microphone. Ejecta never requests or uses it. Audio is output only. Any app claiming to measure how wet your speaker is would need the microphone, and would still be guessing — Ejecta does not do it and does not pretend to.
- The camera, your contacts, your files, your location. None of these are requested and none are used. iOS will never show you a permission prompt for this app, because there is nothing to prompt for.
- Your settings. Ejecta reads the current output volume and audio route so it can tell you to turn the volume up or unplug your headphones. It never changes either, and neither value is recorded or sent anywhere.
What is collected
Ejecta uses RevenueCat to manage its one-time purchase. When you buy Ejecta, or restore a previous purchase, the following is processed:
- Purchase history — that a purchase was made, its product and status. This is used only to unlock what you paid for, to restore it on your devices, and to understand aggregate sales. It is associated with an anonymous, app-generated identifier — not with your name, email, or Apple Account, and it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Payments themselves are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Ejecta never sees or receives your payment details.
What is never collected
- No account, name, email address, or phone number.
- No location data.
- No recordings of any kind.
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No analytics SDKs beyond the purchase processing described above.
Service providers
Two providers act on our behalf: Apple (App Store payments and delivery) and RevenueCat (purchase management, described above). Each processes only what is needed for the purchase to function, under their own privacy terms.
Your rights
Because Ejecta holds no account and keeps nothing about you on your device beyond whether you have bought it, deleting the app removes that. For the anonymous purchase record held by our providers, or any question about your data — including access or deletion requests under the GDPR or similar laws — contact us at the address below and we will help.
Children
Ejecta is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
